a castiron insert in the top compression ring groove for greater durability. Piston bowls are of 'Gothic arch' design to speed up heat dissipation and give improved temperature control. The top compression rings are of taper-wedge design virtually eliminating blow-byand providing maximum cylinder-wall contact. The in-line injection pump and injectors have been specifically designed to provide the proper amount of fuel for the increased air intake.
To provide sure-fire starts even down to —20°F, thermostart units are fitted; and an extra-duty radiator and fail-safe Cyclopac air cleaner are standard.
