HAULlERS whose businesses are not likely to be acciaired under the. Transport Bill are being asked by Mr. E. A. Whitehead, of the Road Haulage Association's North-western (Western) Area, to furnish the following information:—(1) What percentage of total earnings relates to journeys during which the vehicle keeps within 25 mi'es of its base? (2) What percentage of earnings relates to journeys of more than 25 miles, but less than 40 miles from base?
Mr. Whitehead says a deputation will meet some M.P.s to press for the extension of the 25-mile radius to at !east 40 miles.
