Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The results of the Exel Logistics industrial action ballot will be known on 14 September: the Transport and General Workers Union is predicting a big "yes" vote. Voting among Exel's 4,000 distribution staff started on Friday (28 August) and follows their refusal of Exers 35% wage offer.

The ballot offers the option of striking as well as less disruptive action. It will cover warehouse workers and drivers who were transferred to Exel from fellow NEC company BRS. They form the largest single trade union and company agreement in the road transport industry. TGWU national secretary Danny Bryan says: "I'm reasonably confident of a big turnout and a big yes vote.
