DUPLE Coachbuilders is to body the Dennis Dorchester chassis.
The first Duple Dennis coach is to have a high-floor Caribbean body and has been ordered by Youngs Coaches of Rampton, Cambridge.
The Duple Dominant range of bodies is to cease production although the Dominant bus is to remain available. No further orders for Dominant coaches are being taken.
The Duple Caribbean Neoplan-based integral coach launched at the Bus and Coach Council coaching symposium in the spring is having its Mercedes-Benz engine replaced by the L10 Cummins unit by Dennis at Guildford.
Dennis is also to develop an underframe for an all-British Duple-built integral coach.
