• A payload of approximately 20 tom can be carried on a 32-ton-gross bulk tippirq trailer recently produced by Carmiehae and Sons (Worcester) Ltd, Worcester, wher coupled to a Foden 4AXI3/32 tractive unit the capacity of the body being 1020 cu ft The body is constructed of aluminium an is based on a steel sub-frame. It has fold-it sides which enable bagged materials or boxer loads to be carried on return runs.
The trailer is equipped with a secondar radial arm that connects the upper end of th main radial arm to the front of the Hand Neway RTS bogie so that all the four wheel remain in contact with the ground when th vehicle is tipped. The Telehoist single-rar tipping gear is a five-stage unit.
