• Duramin Engineering Co. Ltd., Harbour Road, Lydney, Gloucestershire, has announced a new range of Duravan integral semi-trailer vans with over 2,000 basic variations. Designed for maximum cube, coupled with maximum payload in both dry freight and insulated/refrigerated forms, this new range of trailers will operate at combination weights of 16 to 31 tons gross and beyond.

The range comprises both fifth-wheeled and automatic coupled versions with overall lengths of 18tt to 40ft. overall widths of 7ft 6in., 8ft and 8ft and interior heights of 6ft Sin. to 10ft. Monoleaf, Larninaire or full air suspension systems are offered as alternatives to the standard multi-leaf springing. Also available is a full range of axle, wheel, tyre and brake options, with interior fittings, cargo control systems and materials handling facilities such as tail lifts and built-in palletloading devices to meet operational requirements.
