• A C—licence holder has lost 12+ per cent of his vehicle strength for three months, following an inquiry by the Metropolitan Traffic area Licensing Authority, Mr. D. I. R. Muir. In a written decision issued this week. the LA states that the premises and facilities of JRIV1 (Plant) Ltd. were inadequate and he is satisfied that his vehicle examiner's report on the facilities was reasonably accurate. This point had been questioned by JRM at an earlier hearing and the company had asked permission to question the examiner, Mr. Scott Furnell_ JAM (Plant) has 13 vehicles on C licence, and the LA has suspended two of them for three months from October 1. Mr. Muir said that the company had allowed its vehicles to be used in an unsatisfactory and sometimes dangerous condition.
