trailer livery 20 October “Back in the late 70s, when I used to backload sugar from Silvertown to the Tate and Lyle depot in Taunton, you had to have a clean bed, cover it with their special paper, then rope and sheet it with a good fly sheet over the main ones. It was an art form in itself and there was never a wet load. Another good west country firm that loaded there was Frank Tucker from Exeter. Good old days with much more camaraderie than today!” Tim
