I RUN A small agricultural/forestry business in Derbyshire and have to go to Norway every winter for work purposes – so I need some decent EU legal M+S tyres in a 10R x 22.5 size for a Mercedes-Benz 914AK-31 truck with all-wheel drive, which is used on ields and farms, as well as tracks and rural roads.
At the moment, I have some worn Michelin XM+S4 tyres on the back, and Michelin XT4s on the front and as an unused spare.
The XT4 is slippery on ice and Michelin has told me it is unsuitable for Norwegian conditions.
I have had a real nightmare trying to source some new tyres in this size. I cannot change sizes as we have a full set of Rud ice chains to use with the vehicle.
I have emailed numerous trade wholesalers and remould irms and no one has replied. Could anyone please advise me on who I could contact in Europe or the UK that would be willing to supply me with some new tyres, so I can continue to use the vehicle and earn a living. Paul Hodgkinson
