WITH REFERENCE to criticism and suggestions alluding to the demise of the North-west Owner-driver's Association, we are flourishing and hold monthly meetings which are open to all owner drivers at the Star & Garter, Fairfield Street, Manchester, at 10am on the last Sunday of every month.
The North-west Ownerdrivers Freight Service was an entirely independent commercial venture and has no connection with our Association. Although several of our members are shareholders and floated this company, the Association had no say or holding. The company has at present ceased trading, awaiting an accountant's statement to shareholders.
