GREATER London Council is putting its weight behind a fresh campaign for a Channel tunnel or bridge by holding a seminar at County Hall next week.
Speakers will include EEC Transport Commissioner Richard Burke and British European Parliament representative Sir Brandon Rhys Williams.
GLC leader Horace Cutler said last week: "It is time to make the century-old dream of a physical link with our European neighbours come true. Britain and London have much to gain from the prosperity this vital gateway of the future can provide."
