-CIE carried 4,000 Scouts to jamboree at Woodstock,says the heading in Nuacht, the newspaper of the Irish state transport undertaking, to a report about the movement of "over 1,000 Scouts and Girl Guides" to the International Scout Jamboree at Woodstock, Co Kilkenny. The other 3,000 Little People stowed away in a Guinness bottle thrown into the River Nore.
