pECAUSE of the concern shown by a number, of delegates at last month's Road Haulage Association conference with respect to applications to switch contract A and C licences to ordinary licences, and also in response to many requests which The Commercial Motor has received from disturbed hauliers, this column will in future make particular reference to all such applications that come to our knowledge.
Details of numbers, weights and normal users are given, as usual, below.

Other applications of interest are in the Northern area, an application from J. Taxi Trux, of London, N.W.3, ask for a new B licence to allow them to operate 15 vans on "General goods within 15 miles."
