• Mellor Coachcraft has introduced a minibus body for mounting on Iveco 49.10, 40.8. Mercedes T2 and Renault S50 chassis cowls.
It says that it has developed a flexible mounting system for the body which is fully approved by Iveco Ford and avoids acoustic vibrations.
Welfare vehicle versions have a completely flat floor, which, on the bus and coach versions, is lower, with small wheel arches.
The skirt panels are in GRP and the windows can be bonded or gasket-glazed. Double doors are offered for welfare versions.
Mellor says that the body has a new door design with both inner and outer door seals to eliminate wind noise and draughts.
Seating capacities from 16 to 33 are possible, depending on .chassis, and Mellor offers the option of a wheelchair lift at the back. Soft interior trim is standard, but hard linings can be provided if required.
