PEM Trailers Ltd of Bournemouth is the first company in the UK to be appointed bank stockists for the new Renault JK75 7.38 tons (7.5 ton) gvw non-hgv chassis cab.
PEM, whose body installations are fully approved by Renault Trucks & Buses UK Ltd for box, Luton and lorry bodies, has six production units in the UK.
One feature of PEM bodies is the modular method of interlocking aluminium alloy panel construction is claimed to be both lightweight and robust yet totally waterproof.
The modular concept also means that repairs and replacements can be carried out quickly, simply and cheaply, says PEM.
Luton and box bodies are supplied with one-piece moulded grp roofs, one-piece resin-bonded, plywood floors on alloy crossbearers, interior tie rails, and exterior rub rails.
The rear aperture can be fitted with full width roller shutter or double doors and a large number of optional extras are also available.
The Renault 90bhp JK75 is available in four wheelbases from 2700mm to 4450mm (8.8ft to 14.6ft) all compatible with PEM box, Luton or lorry body designs.
