A wall chart illustrating recommended test and servicing procedures for goods vehicle leadacid batteries has been produced by Crompton Parkinson.

It is divided into six basic sections covering battery inspection, routine maintenance, using a hydrometer, discharge testing, external component checks and preparing new batteries for service.
