HANSON Coach Service Ltd, the 27-vehicle Huddersfield operator, was this week acquired by the West Yorkshire PTE. The company has been operating excursions and tours since 1935.
The Hanson name will continue to be used and all staff will join the PTE with the exception of managing director Mr Albert Hirst, who is to retire. This is the PTEs first incursion into the private hire field.
