the use of elec. rE tilic vehicles in Great Britain was maintained in 1962, reveals the annual report of the Electric Vehicle Association of Great Britain Ltd.
The total number of vehicles registered rose to 43,191 last year from 40,931 in 1961, the largest increase being in driverseated rather than pedestrian-controlled types, of which fewer than 100 were added to the registration total.
As part of the association's survey policy, an investigation into the use of electrics in the laundry and dry cleaning industry was initiated last year.
