A BOLT-ON overdrive unit for the Range Rover is now available from Leyland Cars Parts outlets. The unit (part No GLR 137) will add to the vehicle gear ratios giving a total of 16 forward and four reverse speeds.
BL claims overall savings of more than 25 per cent from the device, which reduces engine speed by 28 per cent for a given road speed.
This will not only have the advantage of reducing engine wear but will also increase top end performance to 176km /h (110mph).
