Largest complex
LEYLAND Truck and Bus Group has announced the establishment at Chorley, Lancashire, of the largest and most sophisticated commercial vehicle complex in Europe. The unit will employ about 500 people and will come on stream early in 1979.
Irish show
ORGANISERS of the Dublin Motor Show (February 28March 5) the Society of the Irish Motor Industry have decided not to include any reference to commercial vehicles in the Show.
Robert Trole, secretary of the SIMI told CM: "Demand for space to exhibit cars at the Show has been so great it has been decided not to show commercials."

Pilot courses
COURSES being piloted in the Republic of Ireland by Ronald Sewell & Associates have been approved by AnCO, the Industrial Training Authority in Dublin. Sewells have been registered to run courses that qualify for Technical Assistance Grants. All, future courses approved by AnC0 will entitle the participants from companies paying training levy to apply for grants.
