Logistics Group is planning a series of acquisitions to make it a major operation in temperature-controlled haulage.
The company has a £10.5m turnover from primary distribution of foodstuffs and dry freight; it is in "advanced negotiations" to buy Anon Transport Services in Hull and managing director Tony Dowley says he is looking to buy more companies.
The acquisition of Anon, which is likely to take place by the end of June. will give the company a fleet of around 80 tractors and 140 trailers including 70 reefers.
Fullers has 90 directly employed drivers and is looking for more: it operates out of depots in Birmingham and Slough.
