Be Dion-Bauton, Ltd., has recently been registered with an authorized share capital of £160,000 divided into 80,000 ordinary and 80,000 8 per,cent. cumulative participating preference shares of £1 each. Only the latter shares have been issued, and all have been taken up privately. There are five directors of the company, as follow :— H. O. Duncan, chairman. Managing director in France for the De DionBouton, Ltd., 1898 to 1906, also for Be Dion-Bouton (1907), Ltd., 1907 to 1916. General manager for the British Empire for the Etablissements de Dion-Bouton, France, 1916 to 1919. ff. W. Hillman,. managing director. Late sales manager and director De Dion-Bouton (1907), Ltd., 1903-1919. H. H. Rodwell, financial manager and secretary. Late secretary and director Be Dion-Bouton, (1907), Ltd., 1905-1919.
K. D. Wadia, director. Representing Be Dion-Bouton in British India since 1903.
J. B. Clarkson, director. Representing De Dion-Bouton in New Zealand and Australia. , The new company have taken over the premises. offices and showrooms at 10, Great Marlborough. Street, and also works at Brewery Road, Caledonian Road, London.
This English company have not only secured the exclusive selling rights for the celebrated French Be Dion-Bouton vehicles for Great Britain, all British Colonies, Protectorates an Dependencies, Japan and the Dutch East Indies, but they have also obtained the right to assemble a Be Dion-Bouton chassis in England of British production excepting the motor unit, which will be supplied by the French works.
