Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Editor, THE COMMERCIAL MOTOR.

13981] Sir,—I notice in your issue of January 27 a letter from Mr. Goddard in which he classifies the Wiseman engine with various other pre-chamber engines He goes on to say that every pre-chamber engine so far produced has needed, or at least has been fitted, with electric heater plugs.

I would like to mint out that the E.M.B. Wiseman engine has never been fitted with, and does not require, heater plugs. Lorries have been equipped with this type of engine without electric Starters, and no difficulty has been experienced in starting by hand from cold immediately.
