Even though all my expectations of the training I was here to perform were blown out of the water from the beginning, I learned to adapt. I already know that some instructional techniques I've given to the trainers have been implemented, which will help to improve standards, benefiting the centre instructors, trainee drivers and the centre's reputation.
Zambia is a peaceful, beautiful place with a lot to offer for the adventurous travel ler. The work Transaid, Caroline Barber and Victor Simfukwe do here is incredible. They work long hours, and the range of projects and areas they are involved in have wider implications. They need help, and I'm proud that Bibby Distribution supports them, and that I've been allowed to come here and do my little bit.
