Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE CM/PALL-EX driver health cards have had an outstanding response from the road transport industry, with requests for thousands of cards from operators, public utilities— and even the police.

Since the cards were launched last week (CM 27 July) we have been inundated with requests from firms wanting to issue them to their drivers. The cards, produced in association with pallet network Pall-Ex, are the size of a credit card and carry details including the driver's name, date of birth, blood group, medical condifions, medications or allergies and an emergency contact number.

Pall-Ex MD Hilary Devey is so convinced of the importance of this initiative that she has committed her firm to providing almost 5,000 cards for drivers working out of Pall-Ex depots.

CM deputy editor Louise Cole says:"The Commercial Motor Health Challenge is about offering practical, simple initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of road transport workers.

-There's no doubt that firms are recognising the importance of providing this information quickly and easily in the event of an accident. We'll gladly send out thousands of cards if it makes UK. I ,GV drivers safer."

To claim your free cards, send your details and the number of cards you require to commercial anotor@rbi.co.uk. Please indicate if you would prefer us not to keep your data for use in future promotions.
