It is an addition to their Diadem range of arcwelding electrodes and is known as Topaz.

The new electrode is designed primarily for high speed down-hand welding in proCluction work where high quality welds are essential and where outlay on automatic welding equipment is not justified. Due to its low-hydrogen coating the electrode deposits metal free from cracktendencies and when welding low-alloy high-tensile steels, a much lower degree of pre-heat is necessary than with titaniabased electrodes.
