• Patrick Greenhous, chairman of the Greenhous Group from 19601994, died last weekend at the age of 83.
Patrick joined the family business, which was founded by his father, Vincent, after the war. When he became chairman following his father's death he helped develop the company into one of the UK's leading motor groups.
Following his retirement Patrick sold his stake and moved to Henley-on-Thames to be near his two sons and their families, but maintained an active interest in the company.
