A self-contained floodlight unit, a hand-held device with its awn engine-powered generator, has been introduced by independent Machine.
The Diamond DE-07 floodlight is claimed to cover three times the area of normal ear headlights and including the 22cc two-slroke engine it weighs 6.4kg (141b).
A range of accessories is available and includes a tripod, an 'extension lead for the remote mounting of the engine, arid a rectifier for battery charging.
Starting with A full tank the light will operate for one hour. Price: £92.
