THE German Federal Railways proposed trial run (CM October 10) for accompanied articulated units from Cologne to Ljubljana has been postponed probably till December. Mr H. Gasser of GFR told CM this week that while the run had depended on a minimum of 18 bookings to make it viable the maximum received had been 15.

"However, one by one the bookings were cancelled due mainly to a falling off of Middle East traffic until only two remained," he said. "These bookings were made at the beginning of the sales campaign by a Mr Hollier of BRS Overland at Northampton."
