Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Conversion kits suitable for vehicles with either twoor four-headlamp systems, each with high-output quartz-halogen bulbs, will shortly be available from Lucas.

The roost important feature of the 7in. two-headlamp kit is the new 60/55 bulb. This is the first double-filament quartz-halogen bulb designed purposely for headlamps. It gives some 30 per cent more light than a

conventional bulb, and provides ;both meeting beam and main beam operation, within a single unit.

To convert a four-headlamp vehicle, two separate sets of 5T;in. lamps cover the individual main and meeting beam function. In each of these kits two appropriately lensed light units are supplied complete with single filament 55 quartzhalogen bulbs.

The work involved in fitting the conversion sets is uncomplicated and kits are supplied complete with wiring instructions. To ensure maximum efficiency after fitting a conversion set, Lucas recommends that beam aiming should be carried out with the aid of approved beam-setting equipment.

Made by: Joseph Lucas Ltd., Great King St., Birmingham. Prices: Two 5fin. main beam light units, kit number 60084019, £7 10s; two 5-lin. dip beam light units, kit number 60084020, £7 10s; two 7in. double filament light units, kit number 60084021. £11.
