Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A range of ICP-finish spanner sets from T. Williams (Drop Forgings and Tools) is claimed to be up to 50 per cent cheaper than corresponding spanners in chrome vanadium.

The tough, plated finish is designed to stay bright despite heavy handling and to give exceptional resistance to corrosion. The new designs are claimed to be particularly suitable for industrial use as well as for the professional mechanic. The spanners are forged from high-tensile steel and are tested to withstand torque loads considerably greater than those required by BS 192:1954 for chrome vanadium spanners.

American A /F and Whitworth sizes are available. There are 14 individual spanners (seven of each type) as well as five packaged sets.

Made by: T. Williams (Drop Forgings and Too(s) Ltd., Tilton Road, Birmingham 9.

Price: 2s 6d to 7s 6d each or 19s 11d for a set of five to £1 lOs 8d per set of seven.
