CM’S OWNER, Road Transport Media, has bought Tip-ex – the UK’s only exhibition for the tipper and bulk transport sector.
The annual exhibition, held in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, attracts more than 70 exhibitors and 2,000 visitors a year and is a major focal point for the construction and bulk transport sectors.
“Tip-ex serves an extremely important part of the UK road freight transport sector and we are delighted to have the opportunity to get involved with this event,” said Road Transport Media MD Andy Salter.
“This is an exciting time for Tip-ex. Harrogate has been the traditional home of a UK tipper and bulk transport show and we are looking forward to working with exhibitors and visitors to develop the show and make it a must-attend event.”

The deal to purchase the exhibition from previous owner G&T Events was completed on 28 May and the 2013 event will take place at the Harrogate International Centre from 31 May to 2 June.
