its light commercial vehicle contract hire business harder. In addition to increasing its LCV salesforce by more than 50% by taking on a number of new leasing consultants to deal with light vans and cars, it has also pegged its LCV contract-hire rates at pre-April tax change levels.
Following the abolition of first-year capital allowances, Marley expects the 1986 LCV contract-hire market to achieve the same kind of growth as fleet cars in the 1970s, when their tax writingdown allowance decreased.
Marley has three LCV contract hire branches in Sevenoaks, Kent, Burton-onTrent, Staffordshire and Poole in Dorset.
