aluminum wheels for trucks and buses has been increase to five years. The reason, says the US manufacturer, i that in the five years since the wheels have been imported in Europe they have shown themselves more tha capable of handling a wide range of operating condition here.
According to the compam its wheels have a long open ing life because, being aluminium, they run cooler tha conventional steel wheels, a because they are machined near-perfect roundesss and therefore can be expected t run truer.
The five-year warranty ai plies to wheels made after January, 1984.
