EEXPORTS of commercial vehicles from the United Kingdom during the first quarter of 1963 were 36,944, with an additional 1,882 buses, coaches and trolleybuses. The comparative 1962 totals were 36,236 and 2,011.
Production, as a whole, was substantially down in the first three months of 1963, when compared with the same period last year. In 1963, U.K. manufacturers produced 97,431 commercial vehicles and 4,985 passenger vehicles. The 1962 totals for January, February and March were 107,682 and 4,269.
