Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The General Motor Bus Co.,.Ltd., of Berlin, is preparing a post-war motorbus. A passage from the recent annual report of the company reads : " The motorbuses have almost disappeared from the road, the reason for which is well known —commandeering! The last two years have not been wasted by the company, which has completed the design of a motorbus adapted for Berlin conditions. It was begun before the war, and the experience of 10 years has been utilized in the design.

The youngest son of Gottlieb Daimler, bearing the same name as his father, has been killed while on active service.

Whereas various German firms have, during the war, established branches in Austria, the opposite course has been but seldom taken. However, the Wolff Bureau reports such a case, namely, the Imperator Motor Works, Ltd., formed with a capital of 10 million marks (R500,000), on the 14th February, 1917, for the purpose of manufacturing Skoda tractors and motors. Half the stock is owned by the Austrian Skoda Munition Works and the Austro-Daimler Motor Co., controlled by the 70 per cent, shares of the Baron von Skoda, who is to be the president of the new concern.

The German paper "Frankfurter Zeitung " says in its comments on the matter that the German capital has been taken over by the Hamburg-Amerika. Line, the big electricity company, A.E.G., and further by the coal concern Hugo Stinnes in 1VItillheim an der Ruhr. In order to start the delivery of war material, such as petrol-electric road trains, field motor railways, tractors and aero engines of largo types, at once, the new buildings of the Cyclop Engine Works, Mehlis and Behrends, in Berlin, North (Wittenau), have been bought for some million marks ; future trade in Germany and overseas was also in view when these works were bought.
