Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

APPROVAL has now been given by Ford for the towing of trailers by its Transit van range. Maximum trailer gross weights laid down by Ford range from 11.8 cwt. for the 12 cwt. Transit to 21.7 cwt, for the 35 cwt. model when the trailer has overrun brakes and from 7.7 cwt to 11.8 cwt. respectively in the case of an unbraked trailer.

It should be pointed out that regulations restrict the use of overrun brakes to trailers of not more than 20 cwt. unladen weight and only trailers not more than 2 cwt. unladen are allowed to be unbraked.
