ACTION has been taken by the National Farmers' Union in respect of the organization of road transport for defence, to see that agricultural vehicles, where" they are concerned. come within the scope of the organization.
Farmers who operate goods vehicles under B or C licences have been advised to form groups of their own, or. where this is impossible, to join groups of vehicles used on similar work. Full particulars can be obtained from any County Branch Secretary of the N.F.U.
Arrangements have been made by another Government Department for the supply of fuel for agricultural tractors and lorries not under B or C licences, and such vehicles need not be grouped.
