Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SANDBACH Engineering Company will be introducing a novel incentive scheme in October designed not only to attract operators to a new Foden model which will be launched at that time, but also to encourage them to buy parts from Foden dealers.

The S108 Special Programme will apply only to one particular specification vehicle. Operators who buy that model, a lightweight, long-haul eight-wheeler which is likely to have a remarkably low chassis/cab kerb weight of around 7.7 tonnes (7.6 tons), will be given a credit note to the value of £2,000. This can then be used to purchase, at list prices, any parts listed in the Fo den parts books. There will be no time limit on the use of the credit note.

SEC also hopes that the new scheme will go some way to demonstrate to operators that Foden parts are no longer as expensive as they used to be.

SEC says that if this pilot scheme is successful it may be used again as other new models are introduced.
