THE Ceylon Transport Board has decided to purchase 485 buses in the current year at a cost of nearly Lim. Of this number, 126 will be reconditioned London Transport double-deckers, but the remainder—the majority of them single-deckers—will be put out to tender. A three-man C.T.B. team is flying to Britain to settle the details of the London bus purchase.
