Transport Containers Fold Plat
A COLLAPSIBLE container suitable 1-61 for a variety of applications, such as the carriage of -foodstuffs, motor components and other industrial equipment, is announced by the Warwick Production Co., Ltd., Birmingham Road, Warwick.
Two models of the Rctemba, as it is known, are being produced. The RT4 is 30; in. long, In in. wide and 161 in deep overall, and the RT6 has overall dimensions of 301 in. by 23i in by 16+ The respective weights are 29 lb. and 37 lb. and capacities are 3.9 cu. ft. and 5.8 cu: ft. Special sizes can he made to order.
As seen. during a recent demonstration, the model RT6 collapses to a depth of only 3-1 in., whilst erection and collapsing, carried out by a representative of The Commercial Motor, occupied ,about 30 seconds for each operation. The framing of the container is of extruded aluminium-alloy sections, whilst the panels are of five-ply board.
It is claimed that over 100 journeys can be withstood without major damage. It is understood that delivery would at present take 10-12 weeks and that the cost per RT6 container in quantities of 100 is likely to be around 113 Ss. Hire arrangements to consumers are under consideration.
Plastics Storage Bin.

Primarily designed for the hanqling and storage of industrial materials and components, the new container may also be used for the handling and storage of meat products and so on.
Reclaiming Used Oil
EGENERATORS combining distillation, absorption and filtration, which work on a physical-chemical principle, are now available from Liquid Systems, Dd.. Norwich Union House. Wellesley Road, Croydon. These Schlegel units are intended for oil, but may also be used for petrol, turpentine, kerosene, nitrosolvents, trichlorethylene and so on.
A small quantity of refining agent, known as F.E., is placed in the open regenerator and thoroughly mixed with the waste oil, after which the lid is closed and the internal pressure raised to approximately 36 p.s.i. by hand pump or
compressor. Further processing is automatic, the electric beating being switched on by the air. pressure provided.
The heat generated. together with the refining agent, is claimed to iniliate a soft refining process by which all oxidizing products dissolved in the waste oil are separated.
Models K.A. and M.A. have a processing period for one charge of one to five hours, depending on viscosily and pollution, and will hold 3.3 gal. and 9.9 gal. respectively.

Another low-pressure-straying underbody coating known as Quickseal has been produced specially for rapid drying in wet weather and has a spirit base. Both coatings are guaranteed for the life of a vehicle.
