The first 50 12m tri-a flatbeds were delivered f Van Hool's Lier factory to UK/Continent freight operatc early November. PTI hope extend the original order tc clude more flatbeds, vans tilt trailers.
The flatbed specification cludes high-tensile steel r beams and cross-bearers. F wheel plates and kingpin fill are reinforced to cater for frequency shunting on ro-ra ries and at port terminals.
Other features include EEC proved Van Hool-type bo under-bars and sideguard mandatory for 38-tonne or lion in the UK.
The company commer operations in the UK/GermE Benelux market in Septen offering both full load groupage services via a m North Sea and Channel routes and plans to expan initial fleet size to 250 and leased units.
