Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HYDRAULIC engineering company Telehoist has introduced a new cantilever tail-lift called the Tellift.

There are three sizes available covering 700kg, 1,500kg and 2,500kg weight capacities. All three models use four hydraulic cylinders, two to tilt the platform and two to lift it.

Telehoist believes this is safer and more stable than two or three cylinders because there is a lift and tilt cylinder on each side of the platform.

The platforms are steel with an anti-slip surface and available in lengths of 1.2m to 1.8m. Like other cantilever lifts, the platform can double as a rear closure, eliminating the need for doors or a shutter if required.

Retail prices are £1,785 for the 700kg model, £1,825 for the 1,500kg model and £1,875 for the 2,500kg model. The standard platform length is 1.5m.

Cheltenham-based Telehoist believes it can find a market for about 200 cantilever lifts a year. Its tipping gear distributors will be responsible for fitting and servicing the tail-lifts.
