LUCAS CAV has introduced an in-line fuel heater suitable for all distributor pump applications and systems fitted with in-line pumps. The unit operates automatically using an integral thermostat which has a minimum switch-on temperature of —1° C. A dash-mounted light indicates when the heater is on.

Designed for 12 or 24 volt operation with earth or insulated return, the heater has a maximum flow capacity of 136 litres 130 gal) per hour, and is supplied with a fitting bit including a length of fuel line, clips, Lucas connections, cable, relay warning light and fuses. A manual on/off switch can also be incorporated into the electrical circuit if required. Nominal output is 300W.
