Dolan, published by Heinemann Educational Books Ltd, 48 Charles Street, London W1X 8AH at £4.25, and also, with a paper cover, at £2.80. Mr Dolan is Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, Ashtonunder-Lyme College of Further Education, Mr J. W. Nicholls, head of motor trades department, Gateshead Technical College, is the consultant editor. Part One of the book was first published in 1966; Part Two is original material published for the first time.

Covering the City and Guilds of London Institute Motor Vehicle Mechanics' courses Nos 168, 550 and 551 for the Light and Heavy Motor Vehicle Craft Studies (to be renumbered in August /September, 1972 as 375. 380 and 381 respectively), the book also covers many parts of the Motor Veliicle Technicians' course.
