ON Sunday, the goodwill of the Newton Abbot Bishopsteignton Teignmoutb bus service will be -taken over from H. D. Gourd and Sons, Ltd., Bishopsteignton, by the Devon General Omnibus and Touring Co., Ltd.
H. D. Gourd and Sons, who have operated the service since its inception 65 years ago, will continue to run coaches on private hire. They recently acquired the haulage and removal business of Messrs. Ashton, Shaldon, and now have five vans as Well as 10 coaches. .
