Increase, London-based Sulfdrive is marketing a new barrier system to enhance depot security.
The patented AD Barrier is a heavy box section which lowers hydraulically on to a matching locking past and is secured hydraulically with a 50mm steel pin. When lowered into position all three hydraulic rams are concealed.
All rams have non-return valves and the system operates remotely by push buttons via a mains-operated power pact.
The maker stresses that the depot must also have secure
