Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Sales Ltd, of Penrith, Cumbria, is the Nixson Rota-Brush. Fitting on to a pressure washer lance (or even a garden hose) the brush head has a fan fitted which, when struck by the flowing water, causes the brush to rotate.

Three types of Rota-Brush are available, short vegetable hair, long soft vegetable hair, and brass bristles. The short-haired model is designed for cleaning large surfaces without damaging the finish. It is a general purpose cleaner and may be used on grp.

The long soft-haired model is more gentle and has been designed for cleaning cars and other coachwork without scratching or marking. It should still be firm enough to clean the surface effectively.

The brass-bristled model is the heavy-duty one and has been designed to give a good finish to a heavily soiled surface. It may be used for removing loose or flaking paint or varnish.

Detergent or steriliser may be fed through any of the brush heads. A siphon is available which, when used with a hose, will feed the additive into the water in controlled volume.

Depending on the type, the Rota-Brush costs approximately £34 including VAT.

The same company has recently added two new models to its range of high-pressure cleaners. The Super 1 500 Cold and Super 1 500 Hot have similar general specifications each being fitted with a CAT threepiston pump and having a rated output of 10343 kN /sqm (1500psi) at 31/2 gallons of water per minute.

Both models are supplied with a six-metre (20ft) suction hose and filter, 18 metres (60ft) of high-pressure hose, a 23-litre (5gal) detergent container, an automatic trigger gun and detergent control.

A 45-litre (10gal) water tank Nuway burner and twin heating coils are fitted to the hot water model.
