Psmat Ltd, of Newton Road, Henley-on-Thames, makes a range of hot and cold highpressure washers incuding its two latest models, the C6-70 cold water and H4-70 hot water cleaners which work at, 6895kN /sqm (1000psi) at 12.3 litres (2.7gal) per minute.

Using a three-phase motor the H4-130 model gives 12963 kN/sqm (1880psi) at 14.5 litres (32gal) per minute.

For use where no electricity supply is available the C5-100D model is diesel powered having its own Lister diesel engine. This model works at 9998 kN /sqrn (1450psi) at 3.2 gallons per minute, A petrol-engined version of the cold water cleaner is also available.

A feature of the Psmat hot water cleaner is its nonpressurised heat exchanger of the company's own design. The temperature of the water is controlled to avoid the risk of damaging paintwork.
