Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO versions of the Daimler 650 10.6-litre 150 b.h.p. oil, engine are being made available on the open market. With basically identical specifications, the main point of difference is that one is for vertical mounting and the other for underfloor-engined chassis.

Approximate weights are: vertical type, 1,884 lb., and the horizontal unit, 2,029 lb.

TOWER VEHICLES FOR HIRE

1-1. A HIRE service for their hydraulic'

platform vehicles has been started by Simbn Engineering (Midlands), Ltd., Dudley, Worcs. Fleets of these appliances have been established at London, Birmingham and Manchester and are available at short notice.

For a 40-ft. model the charge for travelling to and from sites will he 2s. a mile, whilst the rate for site work will be £2 an hour. The minimum charge will be £5 and the maximum daily charge £15. These costs include the services of a driver-operator.

PUBLIC WORKS SHOW

'THE Public Works and Municipal I Services Congress and Exhibition opens at Olympia, London, on November 12. More than 360 exhibitors will display machinery, plant and material for use by public and local authorities. The Minister of Housing will open the congress.
